Welcome to Paws of Gold Dog Training

My name is Anne Menon and I specialize in using kind, humane, effective ways in working with dogs as well as their people.  I  help you understand the emotions behind your dog's behaviours, including  over-excited jumping, pulling and lunging on the leash, and excessive barking. I also specialize in teaching puppy life skills such as house training, walking nicely on a leash and living happily in your home. You and your dog will make progress and gain confidence.

An Experienced Trainer

I am an experienced trainer, having spent 30+ years teaching, training and happily living with dogs. My business name is a tribute to my beautiful Golden Retrievers, past and present. One of life's greatest delights is the partnership that comes from teaching and communicating with a dog, and seeing their bright, shining eyes as they're doing something they really love. I'd like to share this experience with you.

Working One to One

Working one to one allows me to help you in a highly personal way, targeting your specific concerns. Additional family members are always welcome. I also provide flexibility in scheduling, and the opportunity to work with real life situations and distractions. Throughout all of this, my biggest goal is always to train for your success.

Where Am I located? 

I train in the Fairview Mall/Don Mills and Sheppard area, and also offer virtual sessions. Close to the 401/404 and the Don Mills subway station, my location is convenient for clients coming from areas such as Henry Farm, Don Mills, Willowdale, Scarborough, Thornhill, East York and beyond.
